This piece is both a prayer and a declaration.
There is a vulnerability that comes with pursuing the life you’ve always imagined. We often pray for our dreams to come true, but rarely speak about what it takes to carry them once they begin unfolding the sacrifices, uncertainty, pressure, kids, and courage required to keep going.
God Protect Me as I Make My Dreams Come True is about moving forward with ambition while still asking for protection along the way. Protection from what is not meant for me. Protection from losing myself in the pursuit. Protection from the things I cannot see coming.

It is a reminder that faith and ambition do not have to exist separately. I can work relentlessly for the life I envision while still acknowledging that not everything is within my control.
